Go Little Dump Truck

The Little Dump Truck has been busy. The book was chosen as a Chicago Public Library "Best of the Best" for this year, Nick Jr. has named it one of the 10 best books for 2009 and it will soon be published in Japan. I love seeing foreign language editions of my books. There is something cool about kids in other parts of the world seeing your work.

Congratulations! Your Alpha Oops book is one of my favorites for my son. (Well, it's almost mine now because he is 8 and not into picture books as much.) I originally bought it for a friend but I couldn't part with it.

This book is great! Love the illustrations. I'm an illustrator too so, of course, read about you on the back cover and was surprised to see "Lee's Summit, MO"--I live there too. :-) Thanks for giving our town a good reputation!

I, too, am enjoying your illustrations with my boys and was excited to see you are from LS as we're in KC. We looked through the front cover and discussed what the different vehicles were and what emotions they might be feeling. Looking forward to checking out more of your stuff at the library. Thanks for sharing your talent!
