End Pages
End pages are one of my favorite parts of creating a book. I think of them as a punctuation mark. They bracket a story, much like the frame of a painting. They aren't exactly part of the story, but can help you read it. I have often designed an image that shows the cast of the book. Sometimes it's just motif, but I always look forward to creating them. I create them last and it becomes a visual farewell.

These are great!, but I think Astroblast, Moonstone Mystery is my favorite
This is my first visit to your site, prompted by my admiration of the endpaper from "The Little Dump Truck", and here it is, latest post and all! I would buy a large print of it for my kids' room, if I could.
Bob - these are awesome! I bought "The Little Dump Truck" for our family friend who is obsessed with dump trucks (he's 3). I love, love love the endpapers for that book. We spent a lot of time making up stories about the people in the various cars. Your work is so inspiring!
Lovely work :)Not looked here for a while - loads of really nice stuff. Keep it up :)
C'est trop fun, j'adore en particulier la dernière!
you are my new favourite illustrator and only just discovered you over on PB junkie-love your work!
Hi, I love your blog and illustrations! My daughter however is obsessed with an illustration you did for "our White House"-- the illustration titled "1600 Pennsylvania Ave. - who is in the White House". I'm wondering if it is possible to get a print or poster of it that I could donate to her classroom. To see her pouring over an illustration about presidents (she is 4!) because it is so captivating and well...cool...is great. Thank you for the good work!
Wow, these are fantastic! Nothing Like A Puffin and Astroblast, Code Blue are my favorites, but they're all great! :)
Lovely! End pages really are a magical part of a book. I really love the one with the trucks. Beautiful.
